I had to program an iterative method of finding a value to the bond equation. I was able to get 8 place accuracy in 6 iterations. I’ve tried different variations. It’s an interesting problem. I had some math and computer background, but this was a new problem for me at the time, (it was in the 80’s).
Really fun explanation dashmetry— I love how you turn iteration into something so intuitive and visual. The “keep refining the guess” idea really clicks when you see it laid out like this!
