Although I’ve visualized a fourth dimension in an altered state (and only in an altered state), _Flatland_ didn’t have a whole heck of a lot to do with my finally seeing the Klein bottle after many unsuccessful years of trying.

Good thing you mentioned these truths to be “self-evident” and not “true”, because every function having a limit at infinity…

You have a sense of humor similar to my HS calculus teacher, especially that shoelaces one. He’d always revert to quips and one-liners whenever we made stupid mathematical errors.
